Prepare your abstract with the official GeoMATES 2027 template. Abstracts are submitted through the online registration system; the deadline is 25 April 2027.

Each registered participant may submit two abstracts: one for an oral presentation and one for a poster presentation. Acceptance notifications are sent continuously, and in every case no later than 9 May 2027. Abstracts are uploaded through the online registration system, which opens on the Registration page.
Write your abstract directly into the template and upload it through the online registration system. Topic and subtopic are chosen during upload; the selection is a preference only — the organisers may reassign a contribution depending on the topic and the available space.
Including the references, the whole abstract cannot be longer than one typeset page.
State why your study is current and interesting; the paragraph ends with the aims of the research.
Show what you worked with and how.
Present your results and compare them to the most relevant literature if necessary.
Show what the implications of your answer are — the main message of your work.
The paper must be written in English, using an American English (US) spell checker. Please do not use abbreviations.
The Organizers humbly ask Participants to have their abstracts read by a native or an advanced English speaker, so that the scientific committee can concentrate on the scientific content rather than the language.
If you register with a poster presentation, you must send it two weeks in advance. It will be stored on the organizers’ server and a hyperlink will be placed in the abstract book.
